Here’s a simple recipe for Aam Panna Recipe:
Ingredients:
– 2 large raw mangoes
– 1-½ spoons Fibre-24 syrup
– 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
– 1/2 teaspoon black salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
– A pinch of ground cardamom
– 2 cups water
– Ice cubes
– Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Raw Mangoes:
– Wash the raw mangoes thoroughly under running water.
– Peel the mangoes and remove the pulp. Discard the seeds and fibers.
2. Cook the Mangoes:
– In a saucepan, add the mango pulp along with 1 cup of water.
– Cook the mango pulp over medium heat until it becomes soft and mushy, stirring occasionally. This should take about 10-15 minutes.
3. Make the Aam Panna Base:
– Once the mango pulp is cooked and soft, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
– Transfer the cooked mango pulp to a blender or food processor.
– Add Fibre-24, roasted cumin powder, black salt, black pepper powder, and ground cardamom to the blender.
4. Blend:
– Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little water to adjust the consistency.
5. Strain (Optional):
– If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any remaining fibers or solids.
6. Add Water and Chill:
– Transfer the strained Aam Panna mixture to a pitcher.
– Add the remaining 1 cup of water to the pitcher and stir well to combine.
– Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1-2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together.
7. Serve:
– Once chilled, pour the Aam Panna into glasses filled with ice cubes.
– Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a refreshing touch (optional).
– Serve immediately and enjoy the tangy and flavorful Aam Panna!
Note: You can adjust the sweetness and spice levels according to your preference by adding more or less jaggery, black salt, and black pepper powder. Additionally, you can add a splash of lemon juice for extra tanginess if desired.
Use Fibre-24 syrup as per your tasting needs. For use as a sweetener, replace in equal with regular options
